What I learned

  • Magic ring technique (MR)
  • Double crochet technique(DC)
  • Standing double crochet instead of chaining 3
  • Slip stitch (SL ST)

Struggles

  • Added extra layers so that it would be the same size as my previous granny square, where the last layer was single crochet. However, this made the granny square extra curled up…
    • I’m trying to flatten it by putting my laptop on top

Thoughts

It does not look at square as a granny square should look due to the single crochet. Anyways, it reminds me of a snowflake and snow☃️

I hope it flattens

Materials I used:

  • 3.0mm hook
  • 4-ply yarn
  • Scissors
  • Crochet sewing needle
